As the Trust prepares for its Ramble to Augusta this weekend, we are honored to recognize a long-time Rambler and cherished member, William T. Underwood.
A past Camille W. Yow Volunteer of the Year winner, Bill can be found at Rhodes Hall most Tuesdays, helping out in membership or keeping track of the reception area for visitors. His dedication and consistency make him an invaluable asset to the Trust- he even cleaned out our supply closet last week, which is certainly a labor of love. His decades of devotion, insight and unstinting generosity are gifts to all of us here, and we cannot thank him enough.
A devoted father and husband, we look forward to seeing two generations of Underwoods rambling as Bill and Ardath are joined by their daughter and her husband for our adventures in Augusta.
If you would like to volunteer at Rhodes Hall, contact Lindsay Cronk for more information. There is always something that needs doing, and we love to work with our members. Don't worry about difficult jobs since Bill already cleaned out the closet!
